We?ve been following the confusing story of a mom who claims she made up an elaborate scheme to make a few bucks, but the only thing certain is that she won?t be winning any Mom Of The Year Award. First a story ran in The Sun claiming she was injecting her 8-year-old with Botox to boost her appearance for kiddie beauty pageants. Sick, right? Then she appeared on Good Morning America where she continued to trumpet her story across the airwaves. That time around she REALLY got people?s attention. So much attention that child welfare officials started receiving calls for suspected abuse. An investigation was launched, and not surprisingly, the child was removed from her mother?s custody. Roughly one day went by before Sheena Upton, who had been going by the name Kerry Campbell, started reneging on her claims. This time around she says The Sun cooked up the whole idea, and that she simply ran with it for the cash. As if that makes it any better? Sheesh.
